Mike graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2006 and has since practised in both New Zealand and the UK. He has completed a clinical Masters in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. This has enhanced his knowledge, clinical reasoning skills and manual therapy techniques, including spinal manipulation and acupuncture. He has gained vast experience in an array of different physiotherapy settings, including private musculoskeletal clinics, high-level sport, corporate physiotherapy and within multi-disciplinary teams.
Mike's strengths lie in his fantastic manual therapy skills. Alongside his Masters qualification, he has further training in Mulligan Concept techniques and utilises this with his manipulative and acupuncture expertise. With great knowledge and understanding of the human body, he is a great diagnostic clinician and enjoys the challenge of problem-solving complex or complicated injuries. By utilising in-depth knowledge and current best practices, he delivers optimal treatment, rehabilitation and education to encourage individuals to excel.
Mike is passionate about travel and sports. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, golf (13 handicap), cricket, squash and especially snowboarding, of which he is a level two instructor. Mike thoroughly enjoys his job and relishes the opportunity to help people realise and exceed their goals.
