Sean graduated from the University of Otago in 2014, spending time working with Forsyth Barr stadium as a medic during his studies. After returning to Auckland, he kept busy working full time on the North Shore, while completing a postgraduate diploma at AUT. In the year following, Sean completed an internship role for High Performance Sport New Zealand, honing his skills and preparing athletes for their Tokyo and Paris Olympic campaigns.
Returning back to his home side of the Harbour Bridge, Sean offers a wealth of experience in sport and exercise science. He enjoys integrating ideas from elite sport into his management of everyday athletes and weekend warriors. Sean is at his happiest building clients up to be better than they were pre-injury, whether that be in the gym, in club sports, or simply for their evening walk.
Sean also instructs our program of Rehab Classes - weekly exercise classes of upto three patients working on individual rehab programs. Note: these classes require an assessment and referral from one of our clinicians to join.
Outside of work, Sean has always grown up around the water and loves getting over to Tamaki Spit for a kitesurf.
